I use cloth at home but use Tushies or 7th generation on camping trips and to the playa.

We used cloth diapers at home and Tushies on the playa. I put the soiled tushies in double-hefty bags and secured it under our vehicle (w just reached under the car to put the dirty diaper in.) Afterwards, we just put the double-bagged diapers in one of those plastic cans with a lid for the ride home (just like we do with our other organic trash.) there wasn't much smell or leakage (that I remember) .I scraped/ dumped the solids into a portapottie, which might have helped.

In the beach he used nothing. I just took some underwear for him but most of the time let him naked. When we go out to any camping trip or something else we use disposable diapres 7th generation... We live in Uruguay now but each time we go to California we get one package of the 7th generation diapers...

i just got back yesterday from burning flipside, the regional burn in texas.
we used cloth for 5 days and it was fine :D
shakti (my daughter) ran around naked quite a bit so we didn't run out of diapers...in fact i think we had at least a dozen extra. we used prefolds with covers while we were out there. we put a wet bag inside of double bagged garbage bags and i did not smell the diapers at all nor did any critters haha or any of our camp mates. came home yesterday and washed them like normal and they are perfectly fine. i think i would definitely do cloth at BM as well....
so thank you ladies for your input, i just wanted to let you all know how it went hehe.
